Slippery pedals in 2015 F-150
Anyone else think the F150 pedals could use a bit more grip?

The 2015 pedals just have a groove or two that does not seem to help much if you're wearing wet footwear. I think these pedals have the least grip out of any vehicle I've ever owned.

It's less of an issue here in Arizona, but I would hate having to put snow/slush boots on these pedals.

They look like they shouldn't slip but edmunds' review says otherwise. apparently, the pedals are slippery when dry too, not just when your footwear is wet. I guess they smoothed out the cast plastic pedals without adding any sort of rubber insert or overlay for grip.

It looks like it should have grip doesn't it?

There might be something we can put on it that will help with grip, something universal and not specific to any sort of pedal set.

Pedal grip tape is an option but it's not the best looking solution. You may want to get a replacement pedal set for something functional and better looking.

Replacement pedal sets aren't that much. If you look online you can find them for cheap or much cheaper than you would in store. It works out since not that many people are in a rush to get them, most can wait the usual week long shipping period.
