Not really competition since both models are from Ford, but TFL truck did a comparison test between the F250 diesel and F150 Ecoboost to see which one would fare better for RV trailering. Long story short, the F-150 with a 5.0L V8 or a 3.5L EcoBoost V6 si the better chose because they have a higher towing rate.
