2017 Ford F-150 Raptor Spied Looking Production Ready

The 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor has been spied in what appears to be its production ready form.

The American automaker previewed the next-generation off-road pickup at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show earlier this year and now Ford is out testing it on public roads. One of the major differences that can be seen is the lack of giant Ford lettering on the rear of the pickup that appeared in Detroit.

The 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor will be powered by a special version of the automakerís 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine that will make around 450 horsepower, replacing the 6.2-liter V8 found in its predecessor.

The front looks great but the Ford logo is huge. Interesting to see the front bumper's angle where the skid plate is. Allows for steeper approach angles so they expect people to take it up some steep off road hills?

According to Autoblog, the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor SuperCrew version is supposed to debut today at the Detroit show. They'll have more info once the show is underway and the Raptor has been unveiled so we should probably keep an eye on it.
