2018 Ford F150 Feature Rundown

Ford is going all out with the 2018 Ford F150 and not just for cosmetic reasons either. There are so many updates like the increase in steel thickness in the rear section of the frame and the rear axle tub, meaning an increase in hauling and towing ratings!

For those who prefer words over a video, Digital Trends seems to have a pretty in depth article about the 2018 F-150 lineup; prices, engines, features, and pictures.

They even towed a 7,500-pound load in their test drive and the new 2018 Ford F-150 handled it just fine.

Glad they included wifi hotspot because eventually I plan on starting a family and the F150 will be the best thing to get my troop around. Little things like this go a long way especially when you consider the things kids do on devices and how much that eats up data.

As convenient as those wifi hotspot features are, I've always found the plans to be prohibitively expensive and at that point you may as well use your cellular data. That seems to be the trend after looking at what a few manufacturers are offering.

I can see it getting better in the future as we depend more on tech, what we might see are car makers teaming up with service providers to get better packages and even offering free terms when you purchase a new vehicle. That free term along should make people want to pay when free term is up.
