2016 Ford F-150 XLT Special Edition

I found a few pictures of the 2016 Ford F-150 XLT Special Edition and it looks great with those exterior mods. For $2,400 you'd be getting a dark grille with black mesh insert, halogen headlights with dark housings, black hood, door, side panel and tailgate decals, black running boards, chrome single square-tipped exhaust pipe, and 20Ē dark alloys on 275/55R20 BSW all-terrain tires.

What do you guys think?

Still disappointed we get halogen lights since at this point a lot of car makers are going projector + HID or have done so already. With that being said, are any of you planning to go the retrofit route? It can be a bit pricey and time consuming but will be worth it, especially for those of you that drive at night.

Most of the additional options are added for aesthetic reasons and now worth the extra cost. Money could be spent elsewhere and you can get the running boards and wheels separately from elsewhere for less. Unless there's a performance increase, generally not interested. As for the headlights, they're fine for my needs but yea, it would have been nice if the F150 had projector + HID lights.

You forgot to mention each part adds about 10+ HP

I think the chrome exhaust achieves 15HP more.

You can easily do that with decals, each one adds 10hp and if it's red it adds 30hp. But yea, nothing in the special edition is really worth it unless you have money to burn.

Harley Davidson stickers are equivalent to the sort of increase in power you get from forced induction.
