powered subwoofer

anyone have added a powered subwoofer to factory radio 8" screen system? looking at bazooka 6in powered, had it in my 2017 ram with factory system and it sounded great, just had a cheap (rockwood) 6in powered installed, and it is CRAP, just hope the bazooka will sound as good as it did in the Ram, or is it the factory system, from ford, that keeps it from sounding good?

update: some reason the sub would cut in and out ant any time, any volume 5 trips latter and many talks with other installers and bazooka and kicker co, bazooka sent a replacement amp, with auto on/off ( as kicker has on the 8and 10" powered box) after they removed the wire to fuse box, and only have pos w/fuse to battery and the ground, 6 days it works (so far) great , a # of people said each year they change computer ?? and the new one,(they say) searches for a miss in the system, and that connect to fuse box was it?) who knows ?? anyway you think for $42,000 why not just add the powered sub ( option $650) to them with the 8" touch screen?? it now sounds 100% better with just that little kick from the bazooka.

update about 2 weeks now and the bazooka still works fine !! the auto on/off worked, I saw on YouTube a co that makes a wire harness that goes between factory stereo hookup, then has add ons for rca jacks etc to add a amp etc. ,but it cost $260 plus ya have to take out the factory system to plug it in! this works fine so far. and sounds 100% better, its a shame the factory system, even the 8" touch screen and 6 speakers sounds like crap, from factory.
